3M,Ñ¢ Aluminum Foil Tape 1120 is a 3-mil thick tape featuring a 2-mil aluminum foil backing with an electrically conductive acrylic adhesive. It is designed for EMI/RFI shielding applications, making it suitable for use in the electronics industry for tasks such as static charge draining, seaming shielded rooms, and cable wrapping. The tape can be die-cut for various applications in electrical design and testing environments. The adhesive does not require moisture, solvents, or heat for application, simplifying the installation process. It is flame retardant according to UL-510A standards and has a shelf life of five years when stored under recommended conditions. The tape exhibits an average shielding effectiveness of 69 dB across frequencies from 300 kHz to 2.5 GHz and has a maximum electrical resistance of 0.010 ,Ѷ/in¬=.
