Scotch¬Æ Vinyl Electrical Tape 35 is a 7 mil (0.178 mm) polyvinyl chloride (PVC) tape designed for electrical insulation and color coding applications. It features a pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive and is available in nine fade-resistant colors. The tape operates effectively at temperatures up to 221¬8F (105¬8C) and is suitable for use in phase identification, job identification, and marking safety areas. It is UL Listed under UL 510 as ,ÄúFlame-Retardant,Äù and meets CSA certification standards. The tape has a voltage rating of 600 volts and demonstrates high dielectric strength, with a breakdown voltage of 8,750 volts under standard conditions. It also has a high humidity insulation resistance greater than 1x 10^6 megohms. The product has a shelf life of five years when stored properly.
