3M,Ñ¢ 1125 Tape is a copper foil tape featuring a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. The tape has a backing thickness of 1.4 mil (0.04 mm) and a total thickness of 3.5 mils (0.088 mm). It is designed for various EMI/RFI shielding applications, including the shielding of small electromagnetic components, repair of printed wiring boards, and supplementary shielding of joints and seams. The tape meets the flame spread requirements of UL510 and has a breaking strength of 25 lbs/in (44N/10mm) with an adhesion to steel of 40 oz/in (4.4N/10mm). It is supplied on a removable liner for ease of handling and die-cutting.
