Gardoclean A 5585 is a pale amber liquid composed of surfactants, emulsifiers, and hydrocarbon solvents. It is used to provide a thin, glossy and highly reflective film on unpainted metal surfaces which is then visually inspected for defects. The surfactants and emulsifiers in Gardoclean A 5585 provide cleaning that aids in subsequent operations such as phosphating.
