Gardobond X 4548 is a zirconium-based advanced pretreatment process that coats multiple substrates by spray or immersion. Formulated for use on steel, iron, aluminum, zinc and magnesium substrates, Gardobond X 4548 is compatible with most liquid, powder and electrocoat paints. Gardobond X 4548 is free of regulated heavy metals for simplified waste treatment, and produces little sludge for easy maintenance. Gardobond X 4548 is formulated to achieve paint performance similar to or better than an iron phosphate process.
