When beginning the task of creating a custom package for a customer, we follow a stringent protocol in order to provide the most creative package possible. In order for fluidity and precision throughout the process, all areas of production must be on the same page. From sales to shipping, each step has to be properly planned and executed flawlessly.

To begin the thermoformed packaging creation process, a potential customer meets with a member of Plastic Ingenuity's team, working together to determine the best possible product to meet and exceed the customer's unique needs. Once an idea is hatched, the sales team shares that idea with the PI design team, and the creative packaging process continues with an ideation session.

By getting Plastic Ingenuity team members together in ideation sessions, numerous creative individuals have the opportunity to provide feedback on the direction of the creative packaging project. A design team meets separately and enters the ideation session prepared to provide the spark necessary to turn every project into a masterful creative package.

During the ideation session, the sales and design teams work in harmony to identify the customer's point of view and the eventual end user's perspective. Functionality, along with an aesthetically pleasing visual aspect, is paramount in the creative packaging process. Plastic Ingenuity prides itself on not only having the highest quality in the industry, but also the most creative packages on the market.

Once the ideation sessions have resulted in a multitude of potential options, those thoughts are consolidated, organized, and sifted through until only a handful remain. The creative packaging designers then design two rough sketches to share with the rest of the ideation team. All sketches are critiqued and voted on until there is only one sketch remaining. This sketch is further investigated and improved until it becomes a Plastic Ingenuity masterpiece.

After a creative packaging design is finalized and an output format is determined, tooling is created, thermoforming begins, and orders are shipped on a 99.7% on-time delivery rate. Soon, the never before seen package will be unveiled to the customer, ready to change the way people think about thermoformed packaging.
