Production Machining
Service Detail from Top Seiko Co., Ltd.

Top Seiko Co., Ltd. offers production machining service including design assistance and prototype manufacturing for your trial.
Our five-axis machining capability and lights-out manufacturing capability enable high efficiency/low cost volume production.
We also provide low cost small volume production machining service to encourage our customers to try out new materials for their existing parts and/or new parts.
Materials we machine include: Alumina, Sapphire, Aluminum Nitride, Silicon Nitride, Silicon Carbide, MMC(Metal MatrixComposites)*1, CMC(Ceramic Matrix Composites)*2, Zirconia, Steatite, Silicon, Glasses (TEMPAX Float®, Corning Glass ULE®, Fused Quartz / Fused Silica and others), Machinable Ceramics (Macor®, Shapal Hi-M Soft™, Macerite®, Photoveel®), Tungsten, Molybdenum, Tantalum, Heavy Metal, and many more.
Want to Maximize Productivity? Just contact us. We will suggest suitable materials for your applications.
Each material mentioned above has unique properties. Replacing from Conventional Metals or Resin Materials to these Exotic Materials can minimize maintenance costs, and reduce power consumption and downtime. Especially, these Refractory Metals can improve thermal performance dramatically when replaced from conventional metals.
For example, Molybdenum has 9 times higher thermal conductivity but 1/3 of thermal expansion coefficient than that of Stainless Steel. One of our customers replaced the material of their component used in crimping equipment from Stainless Steel to Molybdenum. With improved thermal conductivity, crimping quality improved dramatically and productivity was also increased.
There are many more successful stories of material replacements assisted by Top Seiko.

*1 MMC(Metal Matrix Composites): It is composite material composed of metal and another material such as different metal or ceramic. It is excellent for the applications which require high stiffness or strength at minimum weight.
*2 CMC (Ceramic MatrixComposites): A fiber-reinforced ceramic composed of SiC fibers and SiC matrix. It is light-weight ,high-temperature strength, and high durability material developed as a next-generation material for aero-engines.
