Color Key Clear View Single Feed Electro Lubricators are especially suitable for intermittent operations. Lubrication occurs when the solenoid is activated. This oiler features an acrylic reservoir. The lightweight and durable endplates are made from yellow polypropylene. The item is also available in red, blue and green. Maximum fluid visibility is achieved by eliminating the center post common to many reservoirs. The reservoir and sight are vented to allow liquid to reach the outlet by gravity. An adjustable precision needle valve controls the flow rate; it has a friction lock to guard against loosening from vibration. Drop feeding can be observed through the glass viewing window in the valve body. This reservoir design utilizes a permanent bond that eliminates gaskets. The unit can be filled using the aluminum swing-away filler cap. The aluminum valve body contains Buna-N seals (Viton and EPDM seals are also available). A Viton o-ring creates a seal between the reservoir and fitting. The solenoid has a 1/2" NPT thread for connecting with conduit and is powered by 24VDC (for additional voltages and frequencies, please consult factory). This lubricator is pipe mounted using a plated steel fitting with a 1/2” Male NPT thread. Color coding a reservoir can serve as a simple method for prioritizing or scheduling inspections. Branding/Esthetics Colored reservoirs can be coordinated with colors on the original equipment, accentuate the equipment’s brand, or complement the factory’s logo and color scheme. The diameter of the reservoir is 4 1/4” and the total height of the lubricator is 10 1/16”. It is suitable for temperatures up to 160° F. NOTE: This reservoir is not for use with isopropyl alcohol. Polycarbonate reservoirs or reservoirs with aluminum endplates and Viton seals are recommended for use with isopropyl alcohol.
