Description
Minco embedment thermocouples are physically interchangeable with Minco embedment RTDs and feature four tin plated copper alloy case styles to meet a variety of installation options, including: spring loading or potting in drilled holes and a factory applied babbitt metal tip to reduce overheating of the sensors when installed in babbitt layer. They also feature standard thermocouple wire options of PTFE thermocouple wire, PTFE thermocouple wire with a stainless steel overbraid for added durability or PTFE thermocouple wire with stainless steel braid and an overall Teflon sleeve filled with elastomer for rugged cable that prevents migration of oil along the cable. For applications requiring: Reliable and rapid response Installation in small space Withstand rough handling and harsh environments Temperature range of -184 to 260°C (-300 to 500°F), reducing for certain Type T options
