The DCP 3000 is an electronic vacuum gauge for rough and fine vacuum. Simultaneous connection of up to eight external vacuum sensors (four VSK 3000 and four VSP 3000) allows flexible measuring on the spot. A large illuminated display shows the measuring values of all sensors by a simple turn of a button. When mated with the new (patented) VSP 3000 Pirani sensor, the DCP 3000 can record fine vacuum pressures down to 10-3 mbar/Torr. The wetted parts of the VSP 3000 Pirani vacuum sensor are made of chemically resistant plastics and alumina ceramics, providing much better chemical resistance and ruggedness against mechanical and pressure shock than conventional Pirani sensors with their fragile metallic spiral-wound filament. The communication of the DCP 3000 and the external components proceeds via the VACUU·BUSTM digital bus system. This system is characterized by fully automatic configuration, unified plug connections and cable lengths of up to 30 m. In addition, the DCP 3000 offers a relative pressure measurement feature (VSK 3000) and the possibility to work as a data logger for up to 32,000 data values.
