The Master Power MP2437 is a high quality, industrial-grade, heavy duty Pistol Grip Versa Clutch Screwdriver, which is manufactured in the USA. The Versa Clutch on a pneumatic air screwdriver allows the operator to externally adjust the engagement of the clutch plates providing a full range of torque. The Master Power Versa Clutch Screwdriver is the best "all-purpose screwdriver for all trades" - AND it's reversible! Torque output is set by turning an exterior collar. The bit does not engage until pressure is applied to the bit. When the desired torque is reached with the air controlled versa clutch screwdriver, the operator can push and re-engage the clutch jaws in order to obtain more torque.

Master Power air screwdrivers are rated in terms of "free speed" (the RPM of the drive spindle with no load at recommended air pressure and the throttle wide open). Use a calibrated torque wrench to check torque on the job. Select proper tool speed for your pneumatic air screwdriver so that stall torque is greater than, or at least equal to, the torque required for the largest screw or bolt and nut on which the screwdriver will be used. While pneumatic screwdrivers with lower RPM provide higher torque and more closely controlled torque, they increase run-down time. If run-down time is an important cost factor, a compromise between accuracy and speed must be reached.
