As a pioneer in this field, we have machined on newly developed or extremely hard materials. Materials we machine include: Alumina, Sapphire, Aluminum Nitride, Silicon Nitride, Silicon Carbide, MMC(Metal Matrix Composites)*2, CMC(Ceramic Matrix Composites), Zirconia, Steatite, Silicon, Glasses (TEMPAX Float®, Corning Glass ULE®, Fused Quartz / Fused Silica and others), Machinable Ceramics(Macor®, ShapalHi-M Soft™, Macerite®, Photoveel®), Tungsten, Molybdenum, Tantalum, Heavy Metal, and many more. Industries we serve include Aerospace, Medical, Automotive, Research Institutions, Electronics, Semiconductor, Analytical Instrument, Nuclear Power and many more. Since foundation of Top Seiko, we have produced machined parts which are used in environments where even microscopic flaws could be costly. Each product goes through our inspection to check if it meets the specification required. Our inspection facility includes Coordinate Measuring Machines, CNC High Precision Image Measuring Machine, Laser Microscope, and Digital Microscopes. Upon request, washing, drying and vacuum packing inside of Clean Room are available. *1 EDM: Electrical Discharge Machining. Using electrical sparks, materialis removed from the work piece(electric conductor) to obtain a desired shape. *2 MMC(Metal Matrix Composites): It is composite material composed of metal and another material such as different metal or ceramic. It is excellent for the applications which require high stiffness or strength at minimum weight.
