Filler Alloys and Consumables from Indium Corporation
Solder Shot

Shot are tear-dropped shaped pieces of metal that are typcially used to weigh quantities of other alloys. Examples include: filling vapor deposition crucibles or filling anode baskets with indium for electroplating. The typical diameter of the body is approximately 1/8” (3.175mm) and the length of the tail can vary depending on various parameters, such as the surface tension of the alloy.
