Precise and reliable measuring instruments are essential for smooth processes and high-quality products. As an experienced calibration service provider, our calibration laboratory offers tailor-made solutions for the calibration of your measuring equipment.
Calibrations are becoming increasingly important. In various industries, such as the food, pharmaceutical and automotive industries, standards and guidelines require calibrations or verifications to ensure consistent product quality and avoid product recalls.*
The calibration certificate documents the target/actual comparison of the reference device and the test item and forms the basis for audit-compliant quality management. With the transparency gained about the measurement deviation, calibration factors in the device or control parameters can be adjusted independently, minimizing measurement errors.
Depending on individual requirements and national specifications, ISO, A2LA and DAkkS calibrations are available.
*Certified and validated processes in compliance with DIN EN ISO 9001 ensure consistently high quality for calibrations. This means they meet the requirements of relevant standards such as IFS Food, GMP, HACCP, DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 50001.
Special remarks
- In addition to analog process values, ifm offers the option to also specify IO-Link process values in the calibration certificate.
- All certificates are bilingual and issued in German and English

Calibration methods for:
Pressure sensors ➜
The comparative measurement for the calibration of pressure sensors is performed with electronic pressure controllers and high-precision deadweight testers by using known mass pieces.
Temperature sensors ➜
Here the comparative measurement is performed in stirred, temperature-controll
Flow sensors ➜
Depending on the medium, the comparative measurement is performed by using high-precision reference flow devices and critical nozzles.
Vibration sensors ➜
The comparative measurement of vibration sensors is carried out by comparing the measured value of the transducer to be calibrated with that of a standard accelerometer.
Analytical sensors ➜
The comparative measurement is performed by using a secondary calibration solution.
