High Quality 1.3 MP Sony® EXview HAD CCD® Ultra-Compact and Lightweight General Purpose I/O for Trigger and Strobe The Point Grey Chameleon™ USB 2.0 Camera is a lightweight, cost effective solution to a wide range of imaging applications. Using the exceptionally sensitive 1/3 Sony ICX445 CCD and a 12-bit A/D converter this CS-mount camera can generate high quality 1.3 Megapixel images at 18fps. Camera features a removable glass/IR filter system and a small and lightweight plastic housing. A 7-pin general purpose I/O connector can be used to synchronize the camera to external devices, such as an external trigger or light source. #59-382 5-Pin Mini-B USB2.0 Cable (sold separately) is required for use and transfers both data and power. Every Point Grey Chameleon™ USB 2.0 Camera comes with a 1/4-20 tripod mount adapter, a 5mm C-mount lens adapter, and FlyCapture® image acquisition and camera control SDK.A key feature of the Point Grey Chameleon™ USB 2.0 Camera is the field-programmable gate array (FPGA) chip that controls all camera functionality, including gain, exposure, gamma, resolution and frame rate, user memory channels, and more. The FPGA chip can be updated with new firmware in the field. Other standard features include multiple trigger and strobe modes, regions of interest and pixel binning.The Point Grey Chameleon™ USB 2.0 Camera fully complies with the IIDC v1.31 specification. Existing Point Grey camera users will benefit from the seamless software integration that is available using the FlyCapture® Software Development Kit (SDK). The FlyCapture® SDK is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit Windows and Linux platforms, including support for ActiveX, TWAIN and DirectShow.
