FCIS reduces the risk of flooding from catastrophic relief valve water discharge. The combination of a 975XL2, ZW206 ACV and EST electronics bundle identifies water discharge, isolates the system and notifies building management.
Zurn Wilkins Flood Control Integrated System (FCIS) is a fully configured assembly for indoor flood control from a reduced pressure principle backflow assembly (RP) device. The system is comprised of a Zurn Wilkins RP assembly coupled with a patented relief monitor switch, a solenoid actuated Automatic Control Valve, and a connection-ready control unit that ties it all together. In the event of a discharge, the FCIS relief monitor switch is triggered, shutting down water supply to the device with additional functionality to signal alarm panels or other auxiliary devices.
