The 42100A is a decade resistor from Agilent. A decade resistor is a type of electronic test equipment with a series of resistors, inductors, or capacitors to simulate specific electrical values. An engineer can replace any standard-value component in a circuit with a used or refurbished decade resistor because of its ability to configure to almost any value.

Additional Features:

  • Excellent Frequency Characteristics
  • Low residual inductance and stray capacitance
  • Five resistors (10 ohm, 100 ohm, 1 kolm, 10 kolm, 100 kolm) an OPEN termination, and a SHORT termination.

The Agilent 42100A is designed for performance testing and adjustment of the Agilent four-terminal pair type LCR meters and the Agilent four-terminal pair type impedance analyzers. The Agilent 42100A is applicable to instruments (LCR meters and impedance analyzers) which recommend using the 42100A in the manual of the instrument.

Each resistor and each termination has four BNC male terminals of the four-terminal pair configuration.
