Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics - High Performance Seals, Polymer Components and Springs Datasheets for Polymers and Plastic Resins

Polymers and plastic materials are organic, synthetic or processed polymers that are supplied as raw materials. They typically consist of thermoplastic or thermosetting resins in the form of pellets, powders or liquid resins. These materials can then be molded into a variety of shapes for a wide range of uses.

Product Name Notes
Meldin® Polyimide Material -- 7003 Meldin 7003 includes 15% molybdenum disulfide self-lubricating filler for wear applications that operate in a vacuum or in very dry conditions.
Meldin® Polyimide Material -- 7022 Meldin 7022, with 40% graphite filler, offers additional dimensional stability at elevated temperatures and the lowest coefficient of thermal expansion of any Meldin 7000 series grade.
Meldin® Polyimide Material -- 7001 This grade offers the maximum mechanical properties and high chemical resistance. The Meldin 7001 grade is ideal for electrical and thermal insulating applications.
Meldin® Polyimide Material -- 7211 With 10% PTFE and 15% graphite fillers in it, Meldin 7211 provides our lowest coefficient of friction grade of the Meldin 7000 series.
Meldin® Polyimide Material -- 7021 With its low coefficient of friction and high heat resistance, Meldin 7021 provides the best all-around choice for bearings, seals, thrust washers, and other wear-friction components.
