The 346C is a used 26.5 GHz Noise Generator from Agilent. A noise signal generator is a type of electronic test equipment that produces a noise, or random signal, to test an electronic product’s frequency response, noise figure, and other important parameters.
- Low SWR for reducing noise figure (NF) measurement uncertainty
- Individually calibrated ENR values at specific frequencies to enhance accuracy
- Calibration supplied on floppy disk for easy loading into NFA-series noise figure analyzers
Since it is broadband (), it eliminates the necessity for several sources at different frequency bands. The low SWR of the noise source reduces a major source of measurement uncertainty; reflections of test signals.
