Product Overview

The MMA153F angle sensor features 180-degree angle measurement with a large sinusoidal signal at 80% amplitude of the supply voltage, and ultra-low power consumption at 7μW. Designed with TMR (Tunneling Magnetoresistance) technology, this single-axis magnetic rotation sensor produces an output voltage that is sinusoidally proportional to the angle of a magnetic field applied within the plane of the surface of the sensor. The MMA153F sensor utilizes a unique push-pull Wheatstone bridge design including four TMR sensor elements, which produce a best-in-class peak-to-peak signal at 80% magnitude of the supply voltage, eliminating the need for amplification in many applications. Additionally, it demonstrates excellent thermal stability over -40°C - 125°C, thanks to the TMR Wheatstone bridge technology that accurately compensates the output against changes in ambient temperature. It can operate under a wide magnetic field range from 60 - 400 Oe, which enables precision measurement with relaxed air-gap tolerance. This sensor is assembled in a small SOP8 package of 6mm x 5mm x 1.7mm.
