Premasol Cer-preme 40 Cerium Oxide Slurry Premasol Cer-Preme cerium oxide slurry is formulated from our compounded Ceria powder and a proprietary blend of ingredients that allow for superior suspension and flow properties. With an average particle size of 0.5 µm this slurry is designed for streak free polishing of high precision optical mirrors, lenses and windows with exceptional results across a wide range of hardness materials. The soft settle suspension properties of our Cer-preme 40 slurry provides a mixture that requires minimal agitation in order to remain in suspension. Simple aeration will provide sufficient energy to maintain an appropriate mixture. Premasol Cer-preme 40 slurry is compatible with soft and hard laps, pads, metals, and composites. Excellent results can be achieved when finishing on a pitch lap such as Gugolz or any number of synthetic pitch products.
