Advanced ceramics takes precise skill, gained through years of experience and thorough knowledge of the materials. Grinding Silicon Carbide and Silicon Nitride formulations, in larger size pieces, takes even greater skill sets that go beyond everyday grinding capability. We are able to grind parts 20" x 60" x 24". These can be complex parts of any size or large basic shapes. Your Silicon Carbide mirrors can have spherical or aspherical surfaces ground into parts up to 36" in diameter and 8" deep.
