“Squaroid” Vacuum Ovens, available in two sizes, operate up to a maximum temperature of 220°C.

“Squaroid” Vacuum Ovens are available with a dial temperature readout in the oven chamber or an LED temperature readout on the oven control panel. Radiant warm wall heaters provide uniform heating while preserving usable chamber area. Temperature is controlled by a hydraulic thermostat, while a built-in high-limit thermostat prevents the oven from exceeding maximum temperature.

A silicone door gasket and positive latch door, with floating tempered glass, assure an excellent seal at all vacuum levels between 2" (51 mm) and nearly 30" Hg. A clear, polycarbonate safety shield protects door glass from damage. Vacuum line fittings accept .25" (6 mm) I.D. vacuum tubing.

All vacuum ovens have a side-mounted control panel, with all controls in a single convenient location. The control thermostat has an indicator light showing when the heaters are energized. The power switch is a combination circuit breaker and indicator light.

The shelf assembly includes two aluminum shelves. The entire assembly is easily removed, simplifying cleaning of the stainless steel chamber. Three inches of glass wool insulation surround the working chamber, preventing heat loss. Exterior walls are made of heavy gauge steel, finished with a tough, baked enamel overcoat.

Note: Models 3700-35 and 3700-36 have top-mounted independent evacuation and venting vacuum fittings; all other models feature front-mounted three-way valve for evacuation, venting, and purging of inert gases (e.g. nitrogen or argon) with vacuum fittings on front of unit.
