Brinell Testing Clamp -- Zwick PZ 3

This unique portable hardness tester is suitable for standardized static Brinell ball indentation tests up to 3000 kg. Hardness tests can be performed on materials and workpieces unsuitable for laboratory testing (steel stock, finished structures, machines, larger metal components etc.).

The static ball indentation test is standardized for acceptance tests. Carrying out tests in a steel stockyard or on heavy inaccessible components requires a handy, portable instrument which can easily be positioned. The values obtained correspond to the values of conventional stationary Brinell instruments – for example, they are not merely comparison values.
